Longer Programs
Developing effective leaders and teams takes time which is why we
recommend: programs should use assessments to determine needs,
spread training over time, allow participants to apply what was learned in their environment at work, utilize follow-up training and on-the-job reinforcement, and measure results against pre-agreed
training objectives and outcomes.
The Management Development ProcessTM was designed to address
the key reasons why many management and learning programs don't always
achieve long-term results. It consists of a series of training events
focused on building skills over a 12 to 24 month time frame with
on-the-job application exercises between each training module. It begins and ends with a Management Development Competency AssessmentTM, a 50 item, 360o measurement covering:
self-awareness, responsibility, change management, interpersonal skills, communication skills, managing differences, performance, innovation, and leadership. It also incorporates the following instruments: DiSC® Classic, Coping & Stress Profile®, Personal Listening Profile®, Discovering Diversity Profile®, Time Mastery Profile®, Team Dimensions Profile, Dimensions of Leadership Profile®, Role Behavior AnalysisTM and optionally, DiSC® PPSS reports.
The Team Development ProcessTM was designed to
address the key reasons why most team building programs don't always achieve long-term results. It consists of a series of training events focused on building skills over an 8 to 12 month time frame coupled with follow-up meetings with the team in the workplace, coaching and facilitating as required.
